On behalf of the Servel Corrective Action Committee (SCAC), we've been asked to warn customers of the potential danger posed by Servel brand gas refrigerators manufactured between 1933 and 1957. Naturally, becaus these units have no moving parts, they are durable. However, time does wear heavily on appliances, and without proper maintenance, these particular units may produce carbon monoxide in DEADLY QUANTITIES.

As a result, the SCAC is offering a rebate incentive for owners of these units to properly dispose of them. The rebate includes $100 and reimbursement for reasonable disposal costs.

If you own one of these units and are interested in recieving the rebate, or simply want more inforation, pleasecontact the SCAC at 1-800-782-7431 or write them a P.O. Box 14874 Cleveland, OH 44114.
